You can update your residential address by submitting a new Proof of Address (POA) document. The process depends on whether your account verification has already been completed.
Scenario 1: Your Account Verification Is Not Yet Complete
- 1. If you are still in the process of verifying your account and notice a typo or error in your address, no action is required on your part.
- 2. Any address errors will be identified and corrected during the review of your POA document.
- 3. You will receive an email notification once your POA verification is complete.
Scenario 2: Your Account Verification Is Already Complete
- 1. If your account POA has already been verified and you need to update your residential address, you will need to submit a new POA document via email.
- 2. Prepare your new POA document showing your updated residential address.
- 3. Compose an email from your registered email address to info@vtmarkets.com.
- 4. Set the email subject line to: New POA document for address change.
- 5. Attach your new POA document to the email.
- 6. Send the email.
- 7. Your request will be reviewed, and your residential address will be updated accordingly. You will be notified by email once the change has been processed.
- I'm not sure whether my verification is complete. Check your email inbox for a verification confirmation from VT Markets, or log in to your Client Portal to view your account verification status.
