VT Markets does not offer manual closure for MT4/MT5 trading accounts and copy trading accounts; the system automatically archives accounts once specific inactivity and balance criteria are met.
If you wish to discontinue using a specific trading account, withdraw your remaining balance within the eligible threshold, close all your positions, and cease trading activity.
Automatic Archiving Conditions Comparison
- MT4 Trading Accounts:
- Inactivity Period: No login or trading activity for 90+ consecutive days.
- Balance Requirement: Balance is less than 10 units of the base currency (e.g., 10 USD, 10 EUR, 10 GBP).
- MT5 Trading Accounts:
- Inactivity Period: No login or trading activity for 90+ consecutive days.
- Balance Requirement: Balance is less than 0 in the account currency.
- MT5 Cent (USC) Accounts :
- Inactivity Period: No trading activity, deposits, or withdrawals for 5 consecutive days.
- Balance Requirement: Balance is less than 100 USC.
Once your trading account has been archived, it can no longer be used for trading. However, you can still create a new trading account via the Client Portal.
