At VT Markets, we do not charge any deposit "handling fees". However, if the amount reflected in your trading account does not exactly match the amount you originally transferred, it is usually due to one of the following reasons:
1. Currency Conversion Rates
If you deposit funds in a currency that differs from your trading account’s base currency (e.g., depositing in EUR into a USD trading account), a currency conversion is required. The final amount will be converted based on the real-time market exchange rates at the time of processing, which may lead to slight variations.
2. Intermediary Bank or Payment Provider Charges
While VT Markets waives all deposit fees, you may still incur charges from your own bank or third-party financial institutions involved in the transfer. These may include:
International wire transfer fees from your sending bank.
Handling fees deducted by intermediary or receiving banks (common in international wire transfers).
Processing fees charged by specific e-wallet or credit card providers.
💡 Recommendation: These third-party deductions are determined entirely by the financial institutions and are beyond our control. If you notice a discrepancy in your deposit amount, we highly recommend contacting your bank or payment provider directly to request a breakdown of any transactional fees or deductions applied during the transfer.
