In compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, withdrawals must return to the original payment source used for deposits. If your deposited credit card or debit card has expired, been cancelled, or is no longer active, you must archive it in the Client Portal with supporting verification documents before requesting a withdrawal via an alternative method. If funds were already dispatched to a card linked to a closed bank account, specific banking return procedures apply.

Selecting Alternative Withdrawal Method After Archiving Card Successfully:
-
Once your card is successfully archived and verified, it will be permanently removed from your withdrawal options, allowing you to select other withdrawal channels (such as bank wire transfer, cryptocurrency) directly in the portal.
-
Scenario 2: Funds have been withdrawn to your unavailable Card
Withdrawal Status Shows "Completed": If the withdrawal is marked as completed in your client portal, funds have already been dispatched by VT Markets. Contact your card issuer or bank directly to check whether the payment can be rerouted to another active account under your name or claimed at a branch.
Bank Account Permanently Closed: If the receiving bank account cannot accept funds, the bank or card issuer will typically initiate an automatic return to VT Markets. This refund process generally takes around 7 business days after the bank initiates the reversal.
-
Recrediting and Resubmitting: Once the reversed funds arrive and are credited back to your trading account balance, archive the inactive card following the steps above, then submit a new withdrawal request through another payment method.
