Trading accounts and their credentials are permanently linked to the specific platform selected during registration, and they are completely independent of each other.
Please carefully distinguish between your Client Portal (VT Markets APP) login details and your specific Trading Account (MT4/MT5) passwords:
Client Portal / VT Markets APP Password: This password is used exclusively to log in to your VT Markets Hub (both the web-based Client Portal and the VT Markets Mobile APP) to manage your funds, deposits, and profile settings.
MT4 Trading Account Password: This password is created uniquely for your MetaTrader 4 account and can only be used to log in to the MT4 platform.
MT5 Trading Account Password: This password is created uniquely for your MetaTrader 5 account and can only be used to log in to the MT5 platform.
Note: MT4 and MT5 accounts operate on entirely different trading systems. Their account numbers and passwords are created independently and CANNOT be used interchangeably. For example, you cannot use your MT4 password to log in to an MT5 account or the VT Markets APP (Unless you set all of these passwords to be the same).
