You can easily check the real-time status of all your trading accounts through the client portal.
1. Checking Account Status
Once a trading account has been archived by the system, its status in your account list will automatically change from "Active" to "Inactive".
To review your account status, simply log in to your [VT Markets Client Portal] and navigate to the Account > Live Account section > Inactive. If the status alongside your account number displays "Inactive", it means the account has been successfully archived.
2. Why was my account archived?
To optimize platform performance and server speed, VT Markets automatically archives trading accounts that have been dormant, such as no login, no open positions, and zero balance, for a prolonged period.
💡 How to reactivate an archived (Inactive) account: Please note that once an account becomes Inactive, you will no longer be able to log in to the trading terminals (MT4/MT5) using those specific credentials.
To resume trading: Once a trading account becomes inactive or has been archived, it cannot be restarted, but you can still open an additional trading account.
