If you're unable to locate your specific server in the default list while trying to log into your MT4 or MT5 trading account, you can easily add it manually using the methods below:
🖥️ On Desktop
1. Open Account Setup: Top Navigation Menu。
From the top menu, click File and select Open an Account.
2. Scan for Updates: Network Refresh。
Type VT Markets (Pty) Ltd, click Scan to refresh, and search for available servers.
3. Wait a few seconds while the server list updates, then click Cancel
4. Go back to "File" from the top menu > Click Login to Trade Account, and you will see other servers show in the server list
📱 On Mobile (iOS/Android App)
1. Uninstall and Reinstall the MT4/5 App (Optional)
Go to the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android). Search for MT4 or MT5 and reinstall the app.
2. Clear Cache Data and Re-log in
- Open the MT4/5 App and tap the Settings tab at the bottom.
- Tap Settings again, then select Storage.
- Tap Clean all caches to remove all cached data.
2-1. Log In or Add New Account
Navigate to Accounts: Open your MT4/5 mobile app, go to Settings (or the sidebar menu), and select New Account (or click the "+" sign).
Search Broker Directory: In the search field labeled “Enter company or server name”, type VT Markets (Pty) Ltd.
Select Server: A complete list of available live and demo network servers will pop up. Tap the exact server assigned to your account.
Enter Credentials: On the final login screen, enter your MT4/5 Trading account number and MT4/MT5 trading password to establish a connection.
