If you receive an "invalid account" or "authorization failed" error message when trying to log in to your trading account, it may indicate that the login credentials or server information are incorrect. Please double-check that you have entered the correct information and try again.
Check Your Credentials
Correct Server: Ensure you have selected the exact server name found in your registration email. (e.g., VTMarkets-Live 2 is different from VTMarkets-Live).
Manual Entry: If copying and pasting the password doesn't work, try typing it manually. Sometimes copying captures an extra "blank space" at the beginning or end, which will cause the login to fail.
Demo Accounts: If a Demo Account shows "Invalid Account," it may have expired. Demo accounts typically expire after a period of inactivity. Please create a new demo account via the Client Portal.
How to Reset Your Trading Password
If you have verified your information and still cannot log in, please reset your password:
Log in to the VT Markets Client Portal > Accounts.
Locate your specific Trading Account.
Go to Settings icon > Change Password > Forgot Password.
A reset link will be sent to your registered email address immediately.
