Step 1: Verify your email address on the client portal > Profile > Security Management

Step 2: By default, the status of the security authenticator is set to “Unverified.” You can click on “Enable” to bind a security authenticator to your VT Markets Client Portal account.

Step 3: Enter the password you used to log in to the client portal (not your trading account password or OTP verification code).

Note: If you enter the wrong VT Markets login password multiple times, you will be locked out for 48 hours and will not be able to continue binding 2FA.

Step 4: Downloading the Authenticator App:

Search for Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator in the App Store (iOS) / Play Store (Android).

Step 5: Use the 2FA app camera to scan the QR code displayed on the client portal Page

Step 6: Enter the verification code displayed on the 2FA app, check the box of the disclaimer, then click the "Confirm".

Once the 2FA code is verified, the modification process will be successfully enabled, and the status will be updated to “Verified”.

Note: When you click "Enable Login Authentication," you will need to undergo 2FA authentication every time you log in to the client portal.
