How do I check my account balance in MT4/MT5?

You can view your real-time account details in the Trade tab at the bottom of your MT4 or MT5 platform. If the Terminal window is not visible, press Ctrl + T to open it.

The Trade tab displays the following:

Balance – Your total account funds which can be withdrawn.
Equity – Your real-time account value, calculated as Balance + Floating Profit/Loss + Credit Bonus.
Margin – The collateral currently locked to keep your open positions active.
Free Margin – The remaining funds available to open new positions.

To view past activity such as completed trades, closed balances, deposits, or withdrawals, switch to the History tab (called Account History in MT4), located next to the Trade tab in the same terminal area.
