How do I transfer funds between trading accounts? – VT Markets Help Centre

You can complete an internal transfer between your trading accounts using either the Client Portal or the VT Markets App:

Via the Client Portal:
1. 1. Log in to the VT Markets Client Portal.
2. 2. Navigate to Funds from the left-hand menu and select Transfer between accounts.
3. 3. Select the source account (From) and destination account (To).
4. 4. Enter the transfer amount and click Submit.

Via the VT Markets App:
1. 1. Open and log in to the VT Markets App.
2. 2. Tap Assets on the bottom navigation bar and select Transfer.
3. 3. Select your source and destination accounts, enter the amount, and confirm the transfer.
Important Notes:
1. 1. Same Currency Requirement: Internal transfers are only supported between trading accounts denominated in the same base currency. Cross-currency account transfers are not supported.
2. 2. Credit Bonus Adjustment: If the source account holds an active credit bonus, a notification prompt will appear during the internal transfer process. Please select the option shown in the pop-up to proceed accordingly.
3. 3. Open Positions & Margin: Ensure your source account retains sufficient margin to support any open trades and avoid triggering a margin call.
