The VT Markets App delivers a streamlined and user-friendly experience for placing trades and handling orders. You’ll find all your trades neatly listed on the Trades Page, which includes your open positions, pending orders, and account history.
📈 Step 1: How to Place a New Trade
1. Choose Your Symbols： Instrument Selection。
Navigate to the Trades tab or the Home page dashboard within the app, browse the product categories, and tap on your desired trading symbols.
2. Select Buy or Sell： Market Direction。
Review the live charting interface and tap the "Buy" (Long) or "Sell" (Short) button depending on your market outlook.
3. Adjust Parameters and Confirm： Risk Configuration。
On the order configuration screen, adjust your specific trade volume (lot size). You can also toggle and input your preferred Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP) levels to automatically manage your risk before tapping the final confirmation button to execute.
📉 Step 2: How to Close or Modify an Active Position
All your live running trades are organized under the Positions sub-tab of the main Trades interface. When you need to manage an open trade, choose one of the options below:
To immediately close: Go to the Trades page > Positions, locate the running trade, and tap "Close" to immediately exit your market position at the best available live price.
To Modify Settings: If you prefer to change your protective targets instead of closing, tap the "TP/SL" option to update your automated take profit or stop loss price boundaries.
To Secure Partial Profits/Loss: Tap "Partially Close" if you want to close out a specific fraction of your current lot size while leaving the remaining volume running in the market.
