The VT Markets App delivers a streamlined, user-friendly interface for placing trades, configuring Stop Loss / Take Profit parameters, and managing active market positions. All open trades, pending orders, and account histories are consolidated under the Trades tab (Swap icon) in the VT Markets App. 

Steps for Placing a New Trade (Open a Position) via VT Markets App

1. 1. Select Trading Instrument (Symbols): Navigate to the Trades tab (Swap icon) or the Home dashboard within the VT Markets App, browse the product categories, and tap your desired trading symbol.

2. 2. Select Direction (Buy / Sell): Review the live charting interface and tap Buy (Long) or Sell (Short) based on your market outlook.

3. 3. Configure Risk Parameters & Confirm:

   • Enter or slide your desired trade volume (lot size).

   • Toggle and specify your Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP) target price levels to manage risk automatically (if needed).

   • Tap the confirmation button to execute your market order.

      

 Close or Modify an Active Position in VT Markets App

• All active running trades are organized under the Positions sub-tab within the main Trades interface (Swap icon). To manage an open order, choose one of the following actions:

  • Immediate Full Close: Go to Trades(Swap icon) > PositionsLocate the active trade, and tap Close to exit the market position immediately at the best available live price.

  • Modify Stop Loss / Take Profit: Tap TP/SL on the position to adjust or set automated protective price boundaries without exiting the trade.

  • Partially Close (Secure Partial Profits): Tap Partially Close to close out a specific fraction of your active volume while leaving the remaining lots running in the market.

     

Steps for Speeding Up Trade Execution (Disable Trade Confirmations) in VT Markets App

1. 1. Open the VT Markets App.

2. 2. Tap Trade (Swap icon) on the bottom navigation menu.

3. 3. Tap the Settings ( "﹍" icon) in the top-right corner.

4. Turn off all Trade Confirmation toggle options on the Trade Settings page.

5. Result: This removes the confirmation pop-up window before each trade, causing orders to execute instantly when you tap Buy or Sell.

• Important Risk Reminders

  • Price Volatility & Slippage: When trade confirmations are disabled, orders are dispatched instantly. During periods of sharp market volatility or thin liquidity, execution prices may differ slightly from the requested quote due to market slippage.

  • Volume Verification: Always verify your default lot size before interacting with live charts to prevent accidental order placement with unintended trade sizes.

Troubleshooting when executing a trade in VT Markets App

• "Insufficient Margin" or Rejected Order: Verify that your account has sufficient Free Margin to meet the margin requirements for the requested lot size. If floating losses on open positions have reduced your free margin, reduce your lot size before retrying.

• Order Button Greyed Out / "Market Closed": Financial markets (forex, commodities, indices, crypto) follow specific trading sessions. Orders cannot be executed outside active market hours.
