What trading account types can I open?

VT Markets offers three account types: Standard Account, Raw ECN Account, and Demo Account. All three support the MT4 and MT5 platforms. The account type, account currency, and account server of an existing trading account cannot be changed. Still, a client can open an additional trading account in the Client Portal and select a different account type.
 

Available trading account types

  • Standard Trading Account: No commission per trade on most symbols, with costs built into the spread. Suitable for beginners and everyday trading.
  • Raw ECN Trading Account: Lower spreads with a small commission per lot or no commission. Designed for experienced traders who prefer tighter pricing.
  • Demo Trading Account: Practice trading with virtual funds in a risk-free environment. Available to all
    VT Markets users.
     

Available trading account currency 

  • The following currencies are accepted when opening a trading account: 
  •  United States Dollar (USD)
  •  Australian Dollar (AUD)
  •  British Pound Sterling (GBP)
  •  Euro (EUR)
  •  Canadian Dollar (CAD)
  • Japanese Yen (JPY)
  • Hong Kong Dollar (HKD)
  • United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED)
 

Changes not supported on existing trading accounts

  • VT Markets does not allow any of the following changes on an existing trading account:
  • Trading Account Number: Once a trading account is created, the system will automatically generate a trading account number, which cannot be changed.
  • Trading Account type: For example, converting a Standard Account to a Raw ECN Account is not supported.
  • Trading Account currency: The trading account currency is fixed when the trading account is created.
  • Trading Account server: An existing trading account cannot be moved to a different server.
  • Opening an additional trading account allows the client to trade with a different account type while keeping the current VT Markets trading account active.
     

Opening an additional account with a different account type

  1. 1. Log in to the VT Markets Client Portal.
  2. 2. Go to the Open Account page and select the Live Account tab.
  3. 3. Select the preferred account type, platform (MT4 or MT5), and account currency.
  4. 4. Create a password for the new trading account.
  5. 5. Tick the confirmation box to acknowledge the statement, then submit the application.
     

Opening a Cent account

Cent (USC) accounts are available on MT5 only and cannot be created on MT4. If the MT4 account creation page in the Client Portal does not display a Cent account type, switch the platform selection to MT5, then select an account type marked with the "Cent" icon.

1. Registered email address
2. Existing trading account number (if any)
3. Account type, platform, and server the client wants to open
4. A screenshot of the account types displayed on the Client Portal Open Account page
